Day 224

Like the light but not the placement. Oh well. I finally "get" some of this rule of thirds stuff! :)

Day 214

These two are too awesome for words! :)

Day 213

One of my favorite guys having a meat with meat sandwich. Gross but I still adore him! It was his birthday so we got to go to Fogo! Yummy!

Day 212

Unfortunately when I was catching a shot there I scared the little guy.

Day 211

Fort Snelling from the Round Tower.

Day 210

Is it fall!? Gah! Either way love finding this contrast.

Day 209

More flowers! Sorry!

Day 208

I have always loved barrels. They even showed how they use to pack them. I know... I am a geek.

Day 207

From the underbelly of the Fort Snelling-Mendota Bridge. It's so clean!

Day 206

MN is so beautiful. From this bridge you can see downtown Mpls and St.P.

Some interesting facts. From Wikipedia. Fort Snelling – Mendota Bridge- It has a length of 4,113 feet (1,254 m) and was the longest continuous concrete arch bridge in the world when it was constructed in 1924–1926. It consists of thirteen arches each 304 ft (93 m) wide.[1] It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Day 205

Have had these Chacos for two years and they have brought me so many places. I wish I lived in a state where I could wear them everyday! It may seem silly to show these but gosh I love them. It is fun when you run into other Chaco wearers. And you know they already know.

Day 204

One of (maybe THE) oldest buildings in MN. Do you know where it is?

Day 203

Gosh I love flowers. Why does summer have to come to an end!?

Day 202

Fort Snelling hospital. Such an interesting piece of history right here in the metro. I highly suggest stopping!

Day 201

Lake Snelling. Was all excited to kayak but it was pretty weedy. Need to come back. So quiet here!

Day 200

Wow. 200 already? This year is flying by. I chose this because as I keep track of each goes by I was reminded how nature keeps track in their own way. Only 165 days left!

Day 199

A walk in the park. Love when the trees build this natural arch. Can you believe that 200 years ago there were no trees here hardly at all? Crazy to remember how much of a prairie we were.

Day 198

Love these gals. Was taken on my cell phone. We had a lucky random dinner together. I don't get to see them as much as I like to. :(

Day 197

Oh so cute you little hoppidy hop. Had to take through a window so a random blur in the middle. Adds character, right? :)

Day 196

The cats' arch nemesis. And mine. Didn't plant one of my favorite plants this year because this bunny and their friend thought it was ok to devor it last year.

Day 195

Random shot through a window. Caught some drops and a spider with their web.

Day 192

Wildflowers are EVERYWHERE! Such an amazing trip!

Day 191

Here is such a nice little burro!! Well maybe he wanted food...but ya know.

Day 190

Playing around with the focus.

Day 189

I swear I took this "postcard" look from a moving car and did nothing but "auto levels" to correct... Way cool.

Day 188

Stopped to see Sylvan Lake for the first time in years. Had a family reunion here YEARS ago. Still as gorgeous as ever.

Day 187

So my wonderful smart and awesome hunny won an award at work. Prize? A nice BMW M6 convertible with gas paid. Tis the life! Congrats Aaron!!

Day 186

You know...just some stone prez's

Day 185

Even though the sun sets early there was some amazing capture opportunities!

Day 184

Ahhh the Black Hills of S. Dakota. Gorgeous out there!

Day 183

We stopped to visit DeSmet, SD on our way out to the Black Hills. We decided to walk back from our covered wagon ride! :)

Day 182

Nice old school books. Loved the glow.

Day 181

She claimed she was trying to catch the fish...kind of looks like dancing... :)
